Dell XPS 13
Ultrabook is the buzzword at CES this year, and Dell is readying its own XPS 13, which is thickest at 1.8 cm and 0.6 cm at its thinnest. Dell’s ultrabook weighs 1.3 kg with a solid aluminium cover, and the bottom of the chassis is covered in carbon fibre. Plus, there is room USB 3.0, USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone, and MiniDisplay ports but no SD card slot. Inside it has a Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. The display is covered in Gorilla Glass with a standard backlit keyboard and 1366 x 768 on the 13.3-inch display. It starts at $999 (estimated RM 3100), comparable to the 11-inch Macbook Air and is expected to ship at the end of February.
