Why do I need to have a mobile phone ?

Ask yourself the questions below if you
consider to own your first mobile phone :

Are you always on the move? If you are the type
that stays at home most of the time or those that own a pager that does not even receive a
page in a week, most likely the public phone is convenient enough for you. However, there
are still pre-paid sim cards that may suit you.

Bills. Can you afford it? The subscription rate
is getting lower in Malaysia as compared to other countries in the region. The rate is
also comparable to the rate of using message pager. So are you willing pay a bit more to
be mobile?

Do you find that finding a public phone is a
nuisance? Are you easily annoyed to find a card phone? Upset by the long queue? Need to
return an important call but you are in a bus? If you do, do head down for the nearest
mobile phone shop to get yours now!

Work. You need it for your work? If you are a
businessman, I'll suggest that you go and get one so that you can keep in contact with
your business partners. If you are a cabby, you should own one too just in case your car
break down in the middle of highway...

'I want it because my friends got also!' Not
really useful for you as you are just following your counterparts as you may not be fully
utilizing it. You are just wasting money. However if you want to keep up with friends,
this may be one of the best tool around!

Privacy. Afraid that nuisance calls may shower
your house telephone and disturb your peace? Just know of a guy that you are not
interested in and you do not want him to disturb you by calling you at home?

Personal hygiene. As the public phone is used by
people from all walks of life, the public phone is usually dirty and smelly as
inconsiderate people will speak directly into the mouth piece. To stop enduring all this,
its time you get yourself a mobile phone.

Health hazard. Mobile phone uses radio frequency
(RF). Many people are discouraged as they are afraid that their brains will be 'fried' due
to prolonged usage. However, all the mobile phones in the market are all certified to be
safe as the radiation level is in the acceptable range, unless unauthorized modification
have been done to the phone... |
