Xiaomi Mi A3 Officially Announced With Malaysia Launch Set For July 31

Xiaomi has officially announced their latest stock-Android running smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi A3 is the successor to last year’s Mi A2 and is based on the Xiaomi Mi CC9e that itself was introduced not too long ago.

The main takeaway is that the Mi A3 is both an upgrade and a downgrade to the Mi A2. In terms of upgrade, the former packs a slightly better Snapdragon 665 processor, in-display fingerprint scanner, triple rear cameras, a significantly larger 4,030mAh battery and for some, the return of the 3.5mm headphone jack. The downgrade, which could be a huge dealbreaker for some, is the use of only a 720p HD display. Both the Mi A1 and Mi A2 have 1080p Full HD display. Below is the Mi A3’s full specs list.

  • 6.01-inch Super AMOLED HD+ display (1560 x 720 pixels)
  • 4GB RAM
  • Octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor
  • 64GB/128GB internal storage memory (expandable up to 256GB)
  • Dual SIM
  • Under display fingerprint sensor
  • Android One (9.0 Pie)
  • Triple rear cameras (48MP main + 8MP ultra wide + 2MP depth sensor)
  • 32MP front camera
  • 4,030mAH battery (with Quick Charge 3.0 and 18W fast charging)

The Mi A3 will be available in Kind of Gray, Not just Blue and More than White color options with a price tag that starts at €250 (around RM1,155). Mi fans here in Malaysia will not have a long wait ahead of them as Xiaomi Malaysia has scheduled a local launch for the phone this July 31. | | low interest unsecured personal loans | | low interest unsecured personal loans | | low interest unsecured personal loans
