Sony Xperia Z come with the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean coupled with 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad Core processor. It also feature a Full HD 1080p Display on its massive 6.4-inch screen, an 8-megapixel fast-capture rear camera with Exmor RS, 4G LTE connectivity, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot. Just like the recently launch model, The Xperia Z Ultra is also both waterproof and dust-resistant.

Pricing and Availability

Sony Mobile announce that the Xperia Z Ultra is on schedule to be launch to the market worldwide in third quarter this year and there is no pricing details. At the moment of launch, there is no word regarding the availability of this model in Malaysia.

Samsung Galaxy Note is a ‘phablet’ that was announced on 29th August 2012 and eventually released on 27th September 2012.


Samsung Galaxy Note 2 equipped with a slightly bigger 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (265 ppi) and is powered by the 1.6GHz Samsung Exynos 4412 quad-core processor along with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also include an 8-megapixel back-side illuminated (BSI) rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel BSI front facing camera. The Galaxy Note 2 is available in three internal memory storage option – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Note 2 also include a special active stylus for input known as S-Pen. The second-generation Note is also come with 3,100mAh battery which would make it through the day.

Pricing and Availability

Samsung Galaxy Note is priced at RM 1999 in Malaysia and also available through local Telco such as Maxis, DiGi, Celcom and UMobile.
