While Apple is expected to release its flagship iPhone 8 later in 2017, the smartphone has been subject to many rumours of a delay due to technical issues. While that remains to be resolved, a new rumor has surfaced suggesting that the iPhone 8 will be equipped with a dual camera setup up front that is capable of shooting 3D images. In addition, the dual cameras will apparently feature a special selfie portrait mode.

The iPhone 7 Plus also came with a portrait mode for its rear shooter, with the front-facer getting a similar treatment this time around, so expect better selfies than ever before. Furthermore, the front camera will purportedly have a 3D facial recognition technology which is developed by LG/Innotek.

Of course, all these cool new features come at a price. According to UBS analyst Steven Milunovich, the iPhone 8 could set you back USD 870 (MYR 3,738.39) for the base model while the high-end 256GB could go up to USD 1,070.
