Comparison – Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Vs Sony Xperia Z1 “Honami”
Now that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Xperia Z1 or known as “Honami” has officially launched last week. Let’s take a look on the comparison of these devices.
Screen and hardware: There’s a lot of in common specs between these phones. The Galaxy Note 3 has a slightly bigger screen with 5.7-inch while Xperia Z1 has a 5.0-inch display, they are both runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), Xperia Z1 use a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 Quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 and 2GB of RAM while the Note 3 come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 along with 3GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 3 thus has a bigger internal memory space and more powerful processor. This phones are suitable for those who needs to do Multi-tasking. The Xperia Z1 only has a 16GB internal memory space and also has support for a MicroSD slot up to 64GB. However if you want a bigger camera, Sony’s Xperia Z1 has 20.7-megapixel camera 1/2.3 Exmor RS sensor and G lens to offers. The Note 3 only come with 13-megapixel.
Sony’s also offering a Smart Lenses that supported Android and iOS users called QX100 and QX10.
Galaxy Note 3: Samsungs’s has packed some new features and let’s take a look at it.
Improved S Note: which is users can sync with Evernote or a Samsung account and can be accessed and viewing from different devices.
MultiWindow: this feature has been improved in the new version of the Note. It allows users to jump between applications without closing the window or opening a new one. Users also can run two application in one windows at the same time.
Pen Window: also known as “Stylus Pen S” this pen allows users to draw a window on the screen and launch any applications while continuing current tasks.
Xperia Z1: since this is biggest factor of this phone, Xperia Z1 is packed with a 20.7MP camera that offer superior image quality and the phone is certified water and dust proof.
Social live: which will let users broadcast/streaming live from Xperia Z1 and share to facebook.
Info-eye: which will give users information on the landmarks or item which are captured by them using the smartphone.
Sony’s and Samsung’s are trying to bringing you the best possible phones and new experience like, new ways for take pictures with Sony’s Smart lenses depends on the users own creativity or a faster ways to do you work/replying text, email, etc with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3.
