The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE to launch globally soon

Xiaomi’s Mi 9 SE was announced with the rest of the Mi 9 series in China and is currently China exclusive, but some rumours suggest this may change for a potential launch in other regions. The device has been seen running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable, bearing Google Apps and Multiple Languages. Surely Xiaomi wouldn’t bother for a global MIUI for a region-exclusive device?

Xiaomi has said nothing about global availability for the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE yet. The device itself is a lower-scale model of the Mi 9, and the first to use a Snapdragon 712 packed with 6GB RAM and 128GB non-expandable storage, 5.97-inch Full HD+ display, triple rear camera (48 + 13 + 8MP) and 20MP selfie camera. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, 3070mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

This handset may be the last Xiaomi for compact size users, something we’ll find out in time.
