The Nubia N3 is official

ZTE’s elite Nubia division officially announced the Nubia N3. The official specs are as previously leaked, with the full-screen 18:9 display being one of the standout features the device has. It isn’t the first time Nubia is releasing a full-screen model, but it’s the first mid-range model from the Chinese company with the design.

Nubia N3 Preview

The Nubia N3 has a 5.99-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080p and 403ppi. The 18:9 aspect ratio means it has ultra-thin bezels though there are sizeable ones at the top and bottom edges and does not have a physical home button though there’s enough space for it at the bottom. The device will use virtual buttons and a stylish ring that identifies the virtual home button.

The N3 is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage expandable to 128GB via micro SD. The interface is ANdroid 7.1 Nougat OS likely with Nubia’s custom UI. There’s a 16MP selfie camera with PDAF, full-focus and other features, and an unknown configuration of a rear dual camera setup. All this runs on a 5000mAh battery with fast charge support. It also has NeoPower 3.0 that should help with optimising system’s performance while conserving battery power. The Nubia N3 has three colour options in Obsidian Black, Space Gold, and Nebula Red. The device goes on sale in China on March 24 but price and sales platform is unknown.
