The iPhone 6s Plus get a 2K display while the iPhone 6s 1080p

Though the technology world is currently mostly focused on wearables due to the Apple Watch, but you can’t ignore that a new iPhone or iPhones could be arriving as soon as September. With the looming release date, rumours are abound over the hardware of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

iPhone 6S Trio

Some of the newest rumours are from Chinese blog Feng, saying Apple is going to go head-to-head with its competitors in the specifications war, something Apple isn’t known to do. Feng suggests the battle would be over screen resolution, with the new iPhones possibly having higher resolution screens than anything Apple has out to date. The iPhone 6S is supposedly having a 4.7-inch display with a full HD 1080p panel, while the iPhone 6S Plus will be 5.5-inches and 2K display. The current models are using 1334 x 750 and 1920 x 1080 resolutions respectively so the new models would have quite the pixel advantage if the upgrades are true.

Other rumours include the iPhone 6S having Force Touch and 32GB being the smallest capacity available for purchase, thus ending 16GB struggles.  Incremental updates are what Apple has always specialise in, and if this proves true, Cupertino’s flagship devices are shaping along just fine.
