The Huawei Nova 5 Pro is launched in China

The Huawei Nova 5 Pro has just officially launched in China, spearheading the Nova 5 series. The hardware it boasts rivals that offered by the P30 series.

In terms of specifications, the Nova 5 Pro is fitted with a 6.39-inch OLED display with a teardrop notch finish. Powering the device is a state of the art Kirin 980 SoC paired to 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage.  In the camera department we find a quad-camera setup consisting of  Sony’s 49MP IMX586 sensor, a 16MP superwide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. Over on the front is the 32-megapixel selfie camera. Keeping everything up and running is a 3,500mAh battery.  Features include the dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Available in four colours, namely Midsummer, Purple, Coral Orange, Dilemma Forest and Bright Black, prices for the Huawei Nova 5 Pro start at CNY 2,999 (MYR 1,805.25) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant. No word if the device will be making its way to Malaysia, so stay tuned for updates.
