Skype tests feature to allow Android, iOS users to share screens during calls

Microsoft is looking to improve the video calling feature of Skype on smartphones, by allowing users from both the Android and iOS platforms to share their screens during calls.

Developers of the messaging app revealed that the feature is currently being beta-tested. As it stands, the added features allow users to share anything on their phone displays with whomever they’re in a video call with. Furthermore, adding the feature allows Skype to keep up with other business-oriented offering such as Cisco’s WebEx.

Regardless, it is best to see for yourself how this all works, so be sure to give it a spin after you sign up for the beta test. No rollout date for the feature has been announced.
