Renders of the Huawei P20 Plus surface

3D renders of the Huawei P20 Lite showed us what to expect of the device, and now, there are 3D renders of the high-end P20 Plus. According to @OnLeaks, Huawei has two prototypes of the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus. One prototype has a home button/fingerprint scanner, while the other doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner on the front or rear. The Huawei P20 Plus is the latter.

The Huawei P20 Plus apparently will have around a 6.0-inch screen and measures 155.3 x 74.2 x 7.7mm (9.8mm with camera bump). It has a notch in the display with the same front camera, earpiece and sensor trio as the P20 Lite. It also has a thicker lower bezel. Huawei is using the same iPhone-X style camera for the P20 Plus, but instead of a LED flash between the two sensors like the iPhone, it seems there’s a laser focus module in its place. Outside the dual camera setup is a third camera lens bigger than the other two, the rumoured third sensor Huawei’s next flagship will carry. A LED flash is below the third sensor.

The back of the phone is glass, with Huawei’s branding on the bottom left corner. The right side of the phone has the buttons. The top has a secondary microphone and a second hole that is apparently too small for an audio jack. The bottom has a USB-C port with speaker grilles on both sides. The Huawei P20 Plus will be using the Kirin 970 processor which has a dedicated NPU. A leak on the triple camera system says one of the lens should have a 5x zoom and the front camera should be a 24MP sensor.

March 27 has been set as the launch of the next P-series phones, with a venue in Paris, France.
