realme Expands Their Smartphone Family In Malaysia With The realme 3 Pro & realme C2

realme has released no less than five smartphones in less than year since their debut in Malaysia last November. The latest to join the growing family is their latest flagship, the realme 3 Pro, and the realme C2.

The realme 3 Pro is realme’s best release to date. With the emphasis on speed, the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710-powered phone with Adreno 616 GPU managed to achieve a clock speed of up to 2.22GHz, besting phones such as the Samsung A50 and Redmi Note 7 Pro with similar price range. Speed also takes the form of its charging time. Its VOOC 3.0 flash technology combined with the included 20W (5V4A) charger only requires as little as 80 minutes for a full charge up of its 4,045mAh battery, while a mere 10-minute charging time gives 5 hours of talk time. It is twice as fast as its predecessor the realme 2 Pro.

The camera is also one of the realme 3 Pro’s highlights, especially its Super Nightscape feature. It is a further refinement of a similar feature on the realme 3. The night mode greatly enhances exposure in extreme low light conditions by adjusting highlights and shadows for more detail as well as controlling photo noise. On top of that, the Nightscape mode is also capable of shooting in RAW format. Moreover, the camera also shoots 960fps slow-motion videos.

Below is the specs rundown of the realme 3 Pro:

  • 6.3-inch FHD+ Dewdrop display (2340 x 1080 pixels)
  • 4GB/6GB RAM
  • Octa-core Snapdragon 710 10nm AIE
  • 64GB/128GB internal storage memory (expandable via microSD)
  • Triple SIM slot

  • 16MP main Sony IMX519 lens + 5MP depth sensor dual rear cameras
  • 25MP front camera

Meanwhile, the realme C2 is a more affordable alternative. It retains the unique diamond-cutting design in earlier realme phones for a distinctive look. Helio P22 processor combined with 4,000mAh battery makes the realme C2 a decent entry in the entry-level segment below RM500.
