Samsung launches Galaxy Note 10.1

Spec-wise, the new tablet has a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 display resolution, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel primary camera and a 1.9-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz skinning.
Unlike its other Galaxy Tab cousin, the Galaxy Note 10.1 has a multi-screen feature that splits the screen into half and lets you two apps simultaneously. It also automatically launches your favorite app when you remove the stylus from the slot.
In addition, the Galaxy Note 10.1 supports HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS and a microSD card slot that accepts cards up to 64GB. A LTE model will be coming “later this year”.
Price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 starts from US$499 (S$624) for the 16GB WiFi model and is available in Korea, Germany, the US and the UK. It will be rolling out globally soon. The tablet comes in black and white.
