By Nigel Chew
06 July 2012 – According to Digitimes, Apple’s next iPhone could very well be powered by a brand new quad-core processor.
Based on anonymous industry sources, it is reported that the new processor will be based on Samsung’s Exynos 4 ARM architecture when it is released this year. Earlier rumours have suggested that the next iPhone will indeed include a quad-core chipset, with analysis of Apple’s iOS 6 software solidifying rumours.
In addition, rumours circulating at the moment include a larger 4-inch display, samlleer dock connector and a new unibody aluminium case.
