Samsung has ‘Odyssey’ and ‘Marco’ WP8 smartphones in the works

31 July 2012 – Documents in the Apple vs Samsung trial that is taking place at the moment has revealed that the Korean manufacturer has at least two Windows Phone smartphones planned for the future.
Known by their tentative names ‘Odyssey’ and “Marco’, both smartphones will feature a dual-core MSM8960 chipset, as well as support for HSPA+ 21Mbits and LTE.
The Odyssey will feature a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display, as well as an 8-megapixel rear camera. NFC support on this device has also been confirmed by Samsung.The Marco on the other hand will be the lesser offering, with a 4-inch Super AMOLED with 800 x 480 pixels in resolution, and a 5-megapixel shooter.The documents also indicate that the two devices will be out sometime in the fourth quarter of the year.
