According to his blog post, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is powered by a 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung’s TouchWiz UX with S-Pen support. Like the Galaxy Note phone-tablet hybrid, the tablet has a dedicated slot to store the capacitive stylus.
There is a 5-megapixel camera with a LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity-wise, the tablet supports HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS/Glonass. Plus, it also has an IR port which lets you to control your living room’s TV. The tablet comes with a 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot.
Interestingly, the tablet could act as your phone companion where you can pick up calls or reply SMS directly from your tablet. Hopefully, we shall find out more in the Galaxy event on August 15.
