15 July 2012 – Lately, HTC has been quite active in releasing new Android phones to the market. However, we hardly heard anything about its tablet development until the name "HTC Vertex" has been surfaced from the NenaMark2 benchmark result.

According to SlashGear, the tablet is believed to be equipped with a 10.1-inch display with a HD resolution, a major upgrade from the 7-inch HTC Flyer. It will be powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and the tablet is said to run on Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.3) instead of Jelly Bean (Android 4.1).

In addition, the tablet will have a 2-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel camera and a Beats Audio sound enhancement. No expected release date is found for this tablet, but we hope HTC would make an announcement about the Vertex during the IFA event in Berlin next month.
