NBC Olympics Apps for iOS and Android

13 July 2012 – NBC Olympics had just launched two apps for users to enjoy the comprehensive coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Summer Games. Both of the apps are built and powered by Adobe and they are now for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets for download. However, these app will only be available to verified cable, satellite or telco customers (US Territories). For more info about the verified cable, satellite or telco, click here.
The first app, the NBC Olympics Live Extra enable user to stream every athletic competition. The app will live stream all 32 sports, the awarding of the 302 medals as well as event rewinds. Users can also use multiple concurrent streams for selected sports, such as gymnastics (each apparatus), track and field (each event), and tennis (up to five courts).
The next app, the NBC Olympics app does not offers live streaming but it will have short-form highlights, event schedules, TV and online listings, results, athlete profiles, columns and the Primetime Companion feature.
