Motorola announces Motosmart entry-level Android phone for UK

12 July 2012 – In addition to the Atrix HD and RAZR V, Motorola also announces the Motosmart entry-level Android phone that is headed for UK.

The Motosmart is equipped a minimum spec that you will need in an Android phone, including a 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera, WiFi and GPS. Motorola deploys four common capacitive buttons (Menu, Home, Back and Search) on the bottom of the display. It is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Motorola’s own skinning. Plus, it has MotoSwitch widget that tracks your frequently used apps, favourite music and contacts will appear on the top of your homescreen.
Motorola Motosmart will be available at T-Mobile from the end of this month. It is priced at £99.99 (approx. S$492) on a pay-as-you-go plan, or for free on a monthly commitment of £7 (S$34) for 24 months.
