29 June 2012 – Chrome browser has recently graduated from its Beta stage and now Google has launched its popular mobile browser on the iOS platform.

Overall, there are no drastic differences in terms of user interface between the iOS and Android platform. At launch, the Chrome browser will prompt you to sign into your Google account so it could sync all your favourite links as well as the visited sites from your desktop or other devices such as an iPad or Android phone in a seamless manner.

Jumping from one tab to the other is a breeze with the deck of cards as compared to the iOS Safari browser. Switching tab is also possible by swiping the edge of the screen on the iPhone.

No notable lags are noticed while using the Chrome browser, and it is as good as using it on Android device. As compared to Safari browser, Chrome has a slightly bigger viewing area without the footer bar. Plus, you can request desktop site on the Chrome, which Safari only fetches the mobile version of the website. There is a Incognito tab where you can visit the website without being tracked by cookies or web history.

Chrome browser works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices with iOS 4.3 or later. Click here to download for free or here if you wish to download the Android version.
