Apple releases the iOS 5.1.1

09 May 2012 – Apple has just unveiled an update to the iOS for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The update contains improvements and bug fixes, which include:

• Improves reliability of using HDR option for photos taken using the Lock Screen shortcut
• Addresses bugs that could prevent the new iPad from switching between 2G and 3G networks
• Fixes bugs that affected AirPlay video playback in some circumstances
• Improved reliability for syncing Safari bookmarks and Reading List
• Fixes an issue where ‘Unable to purchase’ alert could be displayed after successful purchase
The new iOS build can be downloaded over-the-air update for users with iOS 5.0 or later installed on their devices, or downloaded and installed via iTunes. iOS 5.1.1 is compatible with the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, new iPad, iPad 2, iPad and third- and fourth-generation iPod touch devices.
