Next-gen iPhone to get Liquidmetal back

23 March 2012 – According to AppleInsider, a questionable rumour is that the Apple will be replacing the iPhone 5's glass back with Liquidmetal alloy. The basis to this rumor is that in 2010, the company Liquidmetal Technologies was paid USD 20million by Apple for the exclusive right to use the liquidmetal.

While, it sounds like something from Terminator 2, it is apparently real and the elasticity of liquidmetal is ranked much higher than the stainless steel and titanium. For more info, watch the video below.
