Dell brings in Windows 8 tablets to fight the iPad
By Nigel Chew
20 March 2012 - Dell has just confirmed that they will be introducing a new line of Windows 8 tablets during the second half of the year.

Dell’s COO Steve Felice told Reuters said the company would most likely differentiate its tablets from Apple's iPad by targeting enterprise users. "We have a roadmap for tablets that we haven't announced yet. You'll see some announcements [in] the back half of the year," he said. "We don't think that this market is closed off in any way."
Dell joins the ranks of such companies as Lenovo, Hewlett-Packard and possibly Nokia which are also planning Windows 8 tablets when it gets released later this year. The company first joined the tablet market with the Streak, an Android-based device but has shifted gears since. However, the company has not ruled out the possibly of future Streak replacements.
