03 September 2011 – Toshiba has made their latest tablet official, at Berlin's IFA trade show. After a leak a few days ago, the tablet is now officially called the AT200, and the 10.1-inch tablet is only 7.7mm thick. The company responsible for 15mm Toshiba Thrive, is now releasing a tablet that is thinner that the 8.6mm Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

It runs on the Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and a 10.1-inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and is powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. And to shed away some inches at the waistline, the tablet comes with a micro-HDMI, micro-USB port and microSD card slot. There is more – a 32GB internal storage, upgradable by said microSD card slot, and pair of cameras, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

No word about pricing or availability yet, but we’ll hear about this device very soon.
