19 September 2011 – The latest Bada flagship, Samsung Wave 3 is expected to launch next month. A Samsung executive has confirmed the launch will held in October in a Bada Developers' Day in India, reports Sammy Hub.
As we previously covered, the Samsung Wave 3 is bundled with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a front facing VGA camera and a 1.4GHz solo-core processor in a 9mm thin aluminum shell. Connectivity-wise, the Samsung Wave 3 supports 14.4Mbps HSDPA, GPS (including Russian GLONASS satellite system), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0. The device is preloaded with bada OS version 2.0 with other complimentary Samsung Hubs and cross-platform messaging Samsung ChatOn app.
In related news, the Korean based company does not have any plans at the moment to further develop its bada operating system to support tablet. According to Sammy Hub, Samsung Exec Dipesh Shah pointed out that the bada OS has some design limitation that deter them from developing a tablet running on bada OS.
