Both the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC Inspire 4G display 480 x 800 pixels onto 4.3-inch screens. Both devices run Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) with similar 1GHz processors. However, the HTC Inspire 4G has a battery rating of 1230 mAh and the HTC Thunderbolt has a battery rating of 1400 mAh.
Both the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC Inspire 4G have 8-megapixel cameras. The HTC Thunderbolt has a 1.3-megapixel secondary camera but the HTC Inspire does not have a secondary camera. Both the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC Inspire 4G area capable of recording in 720p HD.
The HTC Inspire 4G has 4 GBs of storage while the HTC Thunderbolt has double this at 8 GBs of storage. Both the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC Inspire 4G accept microSD cards of up to 32 GBs in size.
The HTC Thunderbolt has more battery and storage capacity than the HTC Inspire 4G. The HTC Thunderbolt also has a secondary camera that the HTC Inspire 4G does not have. It is obvious that the HTC Thunderbolt is better than the HTC Inspire 4G. The question is, how much more will it cost?

The HTC ThunderBolt is billed as one of the world's first 4G LTE Android smartphones and is currently exclusive to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network.
The HTC ThunderBolt is one of the first smartphones to integrate Skype mobile with video calling. Rather than relying on a standalone application, a Skype mobile with video call can be made as easily as a standard voice call ?with features like presence icons that indicate the availability status of friends built into the standard contacts list. A front-facing camera enables simple video calling, and the 4.3 inch display brings friends and family into clear focus.
It runs on the Android 2.2 platform and boasts a 4.3-inch WVGA display, Dolby surround sound, 8-megapixel camera and HD video recording. With wireless DLNA capability, the HTC ThunderBolt can be easily stream and share content directly with compatible home theater components, including HDTV's and stereo receivers that feature built-in DLNA support.

HTC Inspire 4G (announced Jan 2011 CES)

The HTC Inspire 4G has been announced as an AT&T device. It will have a 4.3-inch super LCD display specified at 480 x 800 pixels. The user interface is the familiar HTC Sense, driven by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor with 4 GB onboard memory and up to 32 GB of SD card storage.
The camera is rated at 8-megapixels and it comes with 720p HD video recording. The device will start with a minimum Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
It has 1 GB RAM, up to 48 GB of internal storage and dual-cameras for this device, of which the front-facing one is a VGA video-camera.
