Meet Meizu MX

18 April 2011 Meizu MX, would be the successor of the successful Meizu M9 Android flagship that was launched early January this year. The Meizu MX, which is also known as the M9II previously. Unofficial specs stated that the smartphone will a dimension of 63.5 x 119 x 9.5mm and 4-inch display that supports up to 640 x 960 resolution. This slim Android smartphone has a dual-core A9 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. Like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, the Meizu MX also supports HDMI output.  

Meizu's CEO Jack Wong mentioned in a forum that the Meizu MX will be targeted to be available in the market at the end of this year, carrying a price tag of 3580 yuen (approx. RM 1660) for a 16GB model. The name "MX" refers to two different meaning, first it refers to the Roman number 10 in the X while "MX" means "梦想" (meng xiang) or "dream".
