28 December 2011 - Meizu MX, China’s Android flagship smartphone that would be making its debut on January 1st as we previously reported earlier will be getting a quad-core variant in May 2012.
The Meizu MX was originally powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core and now the Chinese manufacturer has plans to introduce a quad-core variant of the Meizu MX. The company also plans introduce a revamped Flyme OS that is customized for Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich.
Rumor has it saying that the Meizu MX would be equipped with a Samsung Exynos 4412 chipset, however we would not be surprise if it turns out to be otherwise. Samsung may reserve its latest and fastest chipset to its next Android flagship, perhaps the Samsung Galaxy S III.
