01 December 2011 – Samsung Malaysia has just launched two new offerings to its Galaxy smartphone lineup, in the form of the Galaxy W and Galaxy Y.
Samsung Galaxy W, Samsung Galaxy Y
Serving as a successor to the celebrated Galaxy Ace, the Galaxy W, with the W standing for Wonder, is a device for those seeking both style and substance in one cutting-edge package. The Galaxy W will be powered by a 1.4GHz processor, delivering performance that is almost on par with higher-end devices in the market today.
Replacing the Samsung Galaxy Mini, the Galaxy Y - with Y standing for Young - on the other hand is targeted at the everyday youth that wish to stay in style. To achieve that, the Galaxy Y comes in 5 different flavours in terms of its covers – pearly white, dark black, fruity orange, bubblegum pink and silver platter. It will run on the Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) and features Samsung’s very own chat messaging app, Ch@tON.
The Samsung Galaxy W and Samsung Galaxy Y is now available for RM 999 and RM 499 respectively.
