Nokia E5 vs Nokia E63

By Loh Ving Sung GooglePlus
Nokia E5 vs E63
Nokia’s E Series is synonymous with business phones within Nokia’s ranks. Both E5 and E63 share a similar design and role - namely mid-end, business devices for easy e-mail and texting. They share the same candybar design and a QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a similar D-pad. There’s a 3.5mm jack and they both share the same weight at 124 grams.

If Nokia told us that the E5 is the E63’s successor, we wouldn’t be surprised at all.

Chief differences include the screen size and quality, the E5 has a 2.4 inch screen at 256K colours, meanwhile the E63 sports a 2.34 inch screen has 16 million colours. Also, the E5 has the 5.0 megapixel camera and the E63 has a 2.0 megapixel camera on. The E3 has only 250 MB internal memory, and the E63 has 120 MB worth of memory. On the same note, the E5 can support up to a 32GB microSD card, and the E63 goes up to 16GB.

With both phones serving the same function, we would recommend waiting for the E5 over the E63. Despite the Q3 release date, they share (projected) similar pricing, functionality but there is an updated version of the Symbian there and several high end features which include HSDPA and a 5.0 megapixel camera.
