DiGi offers BlackBerry smartphones to its corporate customers

SHAH ALAM, Malaysia, 9 June 2009: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") today announced its corporate promotional packages for the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM, TSX: RIM). Both smartphones are being offered by DiGi with the best BlackBerry data plan in the market at RM63 per month for unlimited e-mail and Internet access. With the launch of the BlackBerry(r) solution, DiGi is offering its customers a unique mobile solution that delivers the benefits of enhanced communications and increased productivity by making it easy to access e-mail, browse the web, make phone calls, send and receive text and picture messages, as well as access a wide variety of business and leisure applications while on the move. 

From 1 June to 31 August 2009, DiGi Business customers can purchase the BlackBerry Bold smartphone at RM1399 and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone at RM999 when they sign up for BIZ Plan 150/250 in addition to BlackBerry service. The two smartphones, which support both cellular and Wi-Fi(r) networks, work in conjunction with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software to enable users to access their corporate networks and e-mail (IBM Lotus(r) Domino(r), Microsoft(r) Exchange or Novell(r) GroupWise(r)) as well as browse the Internet.
