Germany drops Blackberries as VIP phones
Germany just dropped Blackberry devices as their high security devices for VIP conversations, over concerns that sensitive data was being transmitted back to Canada. Now, Germany has appointed Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary T-Systems to get hold of ‘several thousand’ customised handsets with high end encryptions. But seriously Canada?! Really Germany? What’s Canada going to do to you except hike up maple syrup prices?
