Hardcore mobile tweeting- TwitterPeek
A new device from Peek, called the TwitterPeek, does one thing- let’s people Tweet. No access to e-mail, doesn’t make phone calls, no texting.
While we agree the concept is interesting, we are really curious if even the most hardcore of twitter users require a dedicated device, when it is just as easy to tweet from your mobile phone these days. The device is most likely targeting at mobile users, without Twitter access.
The smartphone looking TwitterPeek features a QWERTY keyboard. Input your details and you are ready to go. Peek claims its battery lasts three to four days.
Twitter runs on mobile-phone networks, if users choose to pay $99, they will the Peek and six months of service. They will need to pay $ 7.95 per month for network access. However, if users put on $199, they’ll get the device and unlimited service.
