The Motorola Droid is set for stores on November 6th, and Verizon is going all out in their marketing campaign with the Stealth commercial. There’s some real production value here, even only if we get a tease of the phone at the end.
The Droid is an Android 2.0 based (Éclair) smartphone by Motorola to be retailed by Verizon. Features include Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel low light capable digital camera, a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, 3.7-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen, MicroSDHC support with bundled 16GB card, turn-by-turn Google Maps navigation, and a QWERTY keyboard.
Verizon has been running a marketing campaign that spanned through physical mail in people’s mailboxes, and a teaser video that jabs at the iPhone.
