Droid releases three more commercials, ‘DRROIIIIIIDDDDDD….’
The Motorola droid is going on another offensive, which is set to hit soon, according to Engadget. The first two videos pimp out the Droid’s capabilities, complete with bells and whistles. The last one is a testosterone pumping showcase about how the Droid will sock you in the face.
Looks like Google, Verizon and Motorola is aiming to have its own style as opposed to Palm’s ‘Whaaaa’ commercials and Apple’s hippie approach.
The Droid is an Android 2.0 based (Éclair) smartphone by Motorola to be retailed by Verizon. Features include Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel low light capable digital camera, a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, 3.7-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen, MicroSDHC support with bundled 16GB card, turn-by-turn Google Maps navigation, and a QWERTY keyboard.
Verizon has been running a marketing campaign that spanned through physical mail in people’s mailboxes, a teaser video that jabs at the iPhone and last week a ‘Stealth’ commercial.
