Digi launches 3G for mobile phones
Digi is finally bringing 3G to its users, and Klang Valley users will be able to enjoy the Internet on their mobile devices. The announcement came a few weeks after 3G services were activated in Penang and Kota Kinabalu.
Digi has the Internet Unlimited Max 5 for daily unlimited access Internet through their Internet for no more than RM5 a day. For those who need unlimited data, there’s a RM58 per month for Digi Postpaid.
Digi is also eyeing into other states like Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Kuching for it 3G service by next year. Johan Dennelind, Chief Executive Officer Digi spoke at the launch, said, “We are ambitious yet realistic in addressing coverage without compromising our quality of service.”
He also highlighted Digi’s 3G services as a complement to a mobile lifestyle, “In terms of our mobile service, our services promises quality and affordability.”
Digi is also working together with Gloria Jean’s to provide Wi-Fi to the coffee chain. Additionally, Digi is offering their Broadband package for RM48.
