The Daily Show satires iPhone apps rivalry
Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac explores the cutthroat business rivalry between “Pull My Finger” and “iFart.” The rivalry stems Eric Stratton and Joel Comm, who both created farting applications for the iPhone. Stratton claims to be the pioneer fart app creator and had his app stolen by Walmart-esque Joel Comm.
Cenac pokes fun at Stratton’s comment, when Stratton compares his app to an American civil rights advocator. “So you’re comparing fart applications…to a man campaigning civil rights,” said a dead-panned Cenac.
The Daily Show, known in its current incarnation as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, is an American late night satirical television program airing each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central in the United States.
