Asus asked to join Google's Open Handset Alliance

Google has now asked AsusTek to join the Open Handset Alliance, an invitation that we�re assuming ASUS expected to accept, according to VentureBeat. Reportedly, Google is interested in working with Asus due to its brand recognition worldwide. In addition, OHA carriers like Telefonica are trying on the Android as well. With trend like these continuing, Google Android might be making a stand sooner than later.
