Motorola CrystalTalk
Kuala Lumpur, March 26- Ever received a call while walking through a noisy street or construction site? Not only would listening be hard but speaking would require some effort too. Motorola’s new CrystalTalk technology will help you get rid of unwanted noises.
Launched last June in Bangkok, the CrystalTalk is Motorola’s newest proprietary technology that acts to sift through noise when receiving/calling in noisy places. CrystalTalk utilises a series of algorithms in the digital signal processor to distinguish and filter out background noise on the microphone, while strengthening and clarifying the voice of the person you are talking to.
The CrystalTalk technology is then embedded into a chip and then hardwired into a Moto phone. According to Motorola, the technology enhances the voice quality of both receiver and caller, regardless of the brand - as long as one of the phones has CrystalTalk.
“Instead of saying “Can you repeat that?” in a crowded street, with CrystalTalk there is no need to shout into the phone anymore, as all voices will be crystal clear,” said Zulkifli Mat Jusoh, Head of Marketing, Motorola, Mobile Devices.
Zulkifli added that CrystalTalk is just like the movies specifically Mission Impossible, where voices can be filtered through and enhanced. Additionally, CrystalTalk is on constantly, so there is no need to toggle the filter on or off.
The current and new Motorola mobile devices embedded with CrystalTalk are MotoRAZR2 V8 and V9, MotoKRZR K3, MotoROKR Z6 and E8, W230, W181, W213, W510, MotoSLVR L72, Moto U9, W270 and H12 headsets.
