Mio to launch a 3.5G phone soon

Mio, the GPS product maker is reportedly developing its own 3.5G Windows Mobile touchscreen handset. Mio�s handset is expected to come to market Q1 2009, slightly ahead of the Nuvifone�s own GPS phone. The presumably GPS-centric phone might include a 3.5G chipset from Qualcomm, proprietary �Spirit� touch user interface and a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera. Mio is expected to launch a GPS-enabled MID by the end of Q1 2009.
