DoCoMo, KTF to sell Google phone next year
According to a report from Reuters, Japan’s NTT DoCoMo Inc and South Korean partner KTF Co will jointly develop a smartphone using Google’s Android for a launch next year. DoCoMo, Japan’s top mobile phone operator is part of a Google’s Open Handset Alliance to develop phones based on Google’s Android.
The new phone would be the first Android device to be sold by both carriers.
