LG plans to launch 125 phones globally
Despite planning to launch about 10 smartphones in 2009 only, we now learn that the plan was to allow LG concentrate on the cheaper side of mobile phones by releasing a large number of low-end devices next year.
That large number amount to 125 of handset globally, but the folks at pocket-lint, are saying the UK is to receive 25 handsets, which probably translate to targeted launches. That averages out to about two phones a week and take note it won’t be one phone with four colours, it’s a new handset different week.
"We have to work with different operators in different countries, we don't think it's a big number," said Chang Ma, VP marketing LG mobile global. We await with bated breath LG.
