LG's time to Shine
Electronics giant LG announced the latest model in its line of premium Black Label phones – the LG Shine.
The full metal bodied Shine measures only 13.8mm thick and comes packed with all features you'd expect in a high-end phone these days.
Highlights include a 2-megapixel autofocus camera certified by Schneider-Kreuznach, a media player as well as Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The EDGE-capable phone comes with 50MB of built-in memory and it support microSD cards of up to 2GB.
The front of the phone houses a 2. 2in 262,000-colour TFT LCD screen, which doubles as a fully reflective faceplate – when idle, the reflective screen acts as a mirror.
The screen also supports multi-angle vision, which gives users the flexibility to view the screen from different angles.
There is no directional keypad so users have to navigate the phone's menu using a multifunction scroll key.
For business users, the Shine has a document viewer, which is able to read PDF and Office documents such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Expect to see the LG Shine on local shelves next month.
