In addition to a 65K high-resolution colour display, the 6670 has a 4x digital zoom for both pictures and video recording. A new photo editor application allows the user to enhance the images instantly on the phone screen, and some of the new features are crop, frame, autofix, and add text.
The Nokia 6670 is the first Series 60 product to support mobile antivirus software developed by F-Secure. Security can be further reinforced with the Nokia Mobile VPN (Virtual Private Network) Client and other key security features, such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for web-based applications.
The 6670 also supports the foldable Nokia Wireless Keyboard, and is compatible with the new Nokia Wireless GPS Module which was launched today in a separate announcement.
Weighing 118 grams and measuring 109 x 53 x 21 mm, the Nokia 6670 imaging smartphone is based on Symbian OS, and is expected to retail for approximately 500 euros.
