Oppo To Streamline Their Smartphone Lineup Into Just Three Main Series

Oppo has released a lot of smartphones spanning plenty of series over the years ever since their arrival to the scene many years ago, encompassing flagships, mid-rangers and entry-level devices. Things can therefore appear to be a bit cluttered.

This year, the Chinese company is looking to streamline their product portfolio into three major series lineup – Reno, Find and A Series – with each focusing on a different target audience. The A Series is expected to be the default mid-range series while it is yet unclear how Oppo will further make the distinction between the Reno and Find Series, both of them flagships. And that also means the retirement of the F and R Series that define most of Oppo’s offering just a year or two ago.

Going forward, Oppo is set to launch the A9 2020 on our shores this September 19. It will boast a quad-camera system, 5,000mAh battery, 8GB RAM and dual stereo speakers among others. The Reno2 Series is expected to follow suit in the next few months, having just been announced late last month. The last Find Series phone that was released is the Find X.
