More of the Redmi K20 is teased

Xiaomi and Redmi fans can look forward to some devices announced within the month, with the Redmi Note 7S, Redmi 7A and flagship killer Redmi K20 all expected for launch, with the K20 being highly anticipated. The name, camera samples and spec list are all out, and now, details about its design is getting revealed, through Redmi GM Lu Weibing’s posts: revealing a motorized selfie camera that slides out from the top frame (like the Realme X), and being lighter than similar pop-up design phones.

The pop-up camera is said to be a 20MP sensor. The K20 will be Redmi’s first smartphone with a full screen display without a notch. It’s also said to have been tested to take up to 300,000 movements and durability, with reports suggesting it should last over 8 years if you take 100 selfies per day. You could take the numbers with a grain of salt.

Apart from that, teasers on the K20 suggest a Snapdragon 855 CPU with Adreno 640, 6/64GB, 6/128GB and 8/256GB models, 6.39-inch OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio with 1080P+ resolution, 48MP/13MP (f/2.4) and 8MP (f/2.4) for the back cameras, 20MP for selfie camera, 4,000mAh battery and Carbon Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red colour options. Further details, like that of the release date, are not known yet.
