More of the Google Pixel 3 XL is leaked

An unboxing video had leaked the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it’s appeared again in a video preview that shows both the design and the Android Pie interface. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL should be the first smartphones to run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. This video preview has the same source as the original leak, via a Russian tech blogger’s Telegram channel. The video has since been uploaded to YouTube.

A white coloured model is shown in the video, with an obvious notch design, a trend that seems to have caught on, yet somewhat unpopular. Specs of the Pixel 3 XL include a 1440 x 2960 pixel resolution, 494ppi which would imply a 6.7-inch or so display, a single 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.

The Pixel 3 XL is listed with a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 3,430mAh battery is rather small, but the device will be optimized to be power efficient. The Android Pie’s Always-on display feature is demoed in the video. This Pixel 3 XL is apparently a pre-launch version according to the tipster, so hardware and features can change prior to launch.
