TNG Digital Opens Its Business Operations Hub In Bangsar South

 

Kuala Lumpur, 24 August 2018 – TNG Digital Sdn Bhd has officially opened its main operations hub in Bangsar South today with a mission to elevate the way Malaysians live, pay and transact with its’ Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

TNG Digital was formed through a joint-venture with Ant Financial, bringing the best of both worlds from its parent companies: Touch ‘n Go with more than two decades of bringing cashless card payments to Malaysians and Ant Financial, who has experience and success in leading China’s cashless transformation.

Currently, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet allows users to make payments, top-up their mobile credit, transfer money, watch movies, and more.

The event was officiated by Lembah Pantai’s Member of Parliament (MP), Yang Berhormat Fahmi Fadzil. He said, “I am both excited and grateful that TNG Digital has chosen to build its footprint from the grounds of Bangsar South. Malaysia is in the making for a cashless society, and with the opening of its’ new home, we see a merger of the different communities while staying close to our roots. I am looking forward to see TNG Digital moving further ahead to revolutionise the digital payment ecosystem with its Touch ‘n Go eWallet.”

Syahrunizam Samsudin, CEO of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd said, “Aligned with the opening of our new office, we are focusing our efforts in strengthening a truly homegrown Malaysian product; the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. We hope to be the enabler for Malaysians to transition their lifestyle and provide seamless, more convenient payment experience for all our users.”

At the event Syahrunizam Samsudin also revealed a new eWallet App look and a Add TNG card option. Users will now be able to link up to 3 of their physical Touch ‘n Go cards to their eWallet App but will only be able to check the status and balance of the linked cards at the moment with more features to follow. However, Touch ‘n Go Fleet and auto-reload (Zing) cards are not supported as yet.
