The LG G Flex 2 is here in Malaysia
First announced at CES 2015, the LG G Flex 2 has made its way to our shores, although not offically from LG Malaysia. Instead, ever-resourceful retailer DirectD has brought the device in question into Malaysia.
Do take note however, that the unit brought in is the 2GB RAM variant, with 32GB of internal storage storage. Run through the spec sheet and you will find a curved 5.5″ Full HD OLED display and it runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor. As one of first smartphones to run Qualcomm’s new top of the line processor, the G Flex 2 is powered by a 2.0GHz Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 810 CPU
Maintaining the curved and flexible display, the device has been downsized from 6.0-inches to a more pocket-friendly 5.5-inch form factor. In exchange, you now get a higher Full HD (1920X1080) resolution, with a pixel density of 400ppi. Under the hood,
For your imaging needs, the G Flex 2 boasts a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, whereas on the the front, you will find a very modest 2.1-megapixel front facer, which is hardly sufficient for avid selfie-takers. Taking into account the reduction in size, the device also smaller battery, though it is still 3,000mAh we’re talking about here. Expect to find the latest support for 4G LTE-A, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC. Of course, being one of the newer devices, it will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
